Five superb holiday cottages situated in a beautiful countryside location just outside the village of Scalby near Scarborough. All these pretty Yorkshire stone cottages have been carefully and meticulously converted from original farm buildings and have been furnished and equipped to exacting high standards by the owners. All have their own secure private gardens with garden furniture and barbeques and all have a sunny aspect together with outstanding open views across the surrounding countryside. There is ample private parking for all the cottages and plenty of storage for bicycles is available if required.
Internally, all the properties are modern and stylish having good quality furnishings throughout. They have the comfort of oil central heating and in the 4 larger cottages have the advantage of underfloor heating. Good quality cots, highchairs, fold up beds and sofabeds are available if required. 2 cottages are all on ground floor level offering easy access.
Only a short 15 minute drive into Scarborough boasting its lovely sandy beaches and bustling town and yet only 25 minutes to Whitby. Dalby Forest is on your doorstep – a must for mountain bikers – and there are fabulous walks from the cottages to explore if you don’t want to use the car. In the other direction we have the stunning coastline of Filey and Bridlington and the fascinating bird watching sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs. For those wishing to explore some city life, York is only 55 minutes by car.
